About the project
The new website for the Leibniz Institute for Composite Materials was designed as a clear, functional, and at the same time modern digital foundation. The goal of the web design was to make scientific excellence, structure, and professional depth visually tangible. The design deliberately relies on clean layouts, generous white space, and a minimalist design language to convey complex research content in an understandable way and to provide orientation. The focus was on presenting program areas, fields of competence, and projects clearly, and on positioning the institute digitally at the level at which it telah long operated professionally.

During implementation, the design was fully realized in Webflow – performant, responsive, and with a clean technical structure. Particular attention was paid to a clear page structure, fast loading times, and a flexible foundation for future expansions.
